Eclipse Hops

Originating from a breeding program by Hop Products Australia, Eclipse has roots that trace back to 1915, with subsequent generations of cross-pollination featuring renowned varieties such as Fuggle, Brewer’s Gold, Comet, and Pride of Ringwood, adapted to the Australian environment. This hop is celebrated for its fruit-forward flavors, predominantly imparting notes of sweet mandarin, zesty citrus peel, and fresh pine needles. Its flavor profile makes it particularly well-suited for fruit-forward beer styles. Brewers have found that Eclipse can be used in large quantities to create a pronounced impact in IPAs, hazy NEIPAs or can be moderated for lighter, well-balanced brews in XPAs and Pale Ales.
