Workhorse (B51) by Imperial Yeast is a liquid ale yeast with medium flocculation and high attenuation. It is best used for American ales, but can also be used for lagers and English ales. This yeast ferments cleanly, allowing the malt and hop characteristics of a beer to shine through. Workhorse (B51) has an ideal fermentation temperature range of 18.0-24.0 °C and produces beers with an attenuation rate of 72%. This yeast produces low levels of esters, making it suitable for all styles of ales, from pale ales to stouts.
