Wyeast's Whitbread Ale (1099) is a liquid ale yeast with high flocculation and an alcohol tolerance of 10.0%. It has an attenuation of 70.0% and ferments best between 18.0-24.0 °C, making it ideal for pale ales, bitter beers, stouts, porters and English style ales. This strain produces a slightly sweet finish with notes of fruit, bread and biscuit character which enhances the malt profile of the finished beer.
