Imperial Yeast's Global (L13) is a liquid lager yeast with excellent attenuation, flocculation and fermentation temperature. With an attenuation of 73.0% and a medium-low flocculation, it produces very clean beers that are light-bodied and bright in flavor. The ideal fermentation temperature for this strain ranges from 8.0-13.0 °C, allowing brewers to experiment with different temperatures to achieve their desired results. This strain of yeast is well suited for brewing a variety of lager styles, including Pilsner, Munich Helles, Vienna Lager, Dortmunder Export and American Light Lager. The flavor profile produced by this yeast includes clean malt character with subtle hints of fruitiness and no noticeable esters or phenols.
