This lager yeast is best used when the fermentation temperature is kept in the range of 9.0-13.0 °C. Munich Lager (2308) will produce beers with a smooth malty flavor and a light, but slightly fruity aroma. This yeast can be used to brew authentic German Oktoberfest beers, Vienna lagers, Marzens, and Helles lagers for a clean finish and distinct malt character.
