Introduction

White Labs Cream Ale Blend (WLP080) is a liquid ale yeast that has an attenuation of 77.5%, flocculation of medium, and alcohol tolerance of medium. It ferments best at temperatures between 18.0-21.0°C, making it ideal for brewing under normal room temperature conditions. This blend is perfect for brewing classic American cream ales and Kölsch-style beers, as well as light lagers with a crisp flavor profile. The resulting beer has a delicate malt character with slight esters, mild fruitiness, and a clean finish. This yeast blend is also capable of producing a wide variety of other styles such as Blondes, Brown Ales and Pilsners.
