Profile

The Kracanup hop is an exciting new addition to the world of brewing, originating from Western Australia. This hop is the brainchild of a semi-retired couple, Colin and Britt Butler, who ventured into hop farming with little prior knowledge about hops. Kracanup is a hybrid hop variety, resulting from a cross between the renowned Cascade and Chinook hops, both of which have their roots in the US and have significantly influenced the West Coast American Pale Ale style. This hop has garnered attention from several West Coast beer enthusiasts.
