It has an alcohol tolerance of up to 15.0%, and performs best when fermented at temperatures between 19.0-22.0 °C. This yeast can produce high levels of esters and phenolic compounds, making it ideal for producing Belgian-style ales with complex flavor profiles such as Witbiers, Farmhouse Ales, Saisons, Dubbels, Tripels or Belgian Strong Ales.
